Wright: Walcott playing as a striker

Theo Walcott gave support to the Arsenal legend Ian Wright to be given the opportunity to prove his ability as a striker and has urged the club's hierarchy to resolve the contract dispute before another name stars are allowed to leave the club.

http://mania-football-streaming.blogspot.com/2012/09/wright-walcott-playing-as-striker.htmlTheo Walcott is one of the goals as the Gunners won 6-1 against Coventry notched at the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night, but Wenger insists the England winger would "be patient" before she was given the opportunity to lead the line in his team.

After 23 years said earlier this week that he wanted to be given the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of Thierry Henry and the emerging role of the pelvis to be a top class striker

the former Arsenal striker Wright has supported Theo Walcott efforts to launch the second phase of his career in the position he made his own in seven years at the club."I love Theo and have been saying for a long time that he has to play as a striker," said Wright ESPN. "Obviously he's not the finished article and could do with some work over Arsenal, but Theo has all the ingredients to be a top striker."

Wenger has been saying for a long time that he saw Theo developed into a striker, so it gives people a chance to prove that he can do it If it does not work. Then fair enough, but it should be worth giving a try."

Theo Walcott has been booed by sections of the people of Arsenal this season as an ongoing contract dispute continues to capture the headlines, but the striker who scored 185 goals for Arsenal showed mockery that flows in the forward direction faster than the part of the people of the Emirates Stadium is justified."My hope is that fans get Theo Walcott contract situation sorted and then he can continue to show what he can do on the field," said Wright. "There are so many good things about this guy, but people always tend to focus on the negative.

"The problem for me is that people believe he must do more than what he does every week, and that hope is not all the fault itself around. Sana he was on 16, played for Arsenal in the Premier League and he was thrown into the World Cup squad England in 2006. was stupid. Since then, people wanted him to win the game yourself every week and there is nothing he does is good enough.

"I hear so many people slagging off players the Premier League to be a bad role model, but Theo is a great asset to our game He is a solid young man, articulate and never get themselves in trouble on or off the field .. What else can you want from a man in a high profile position? So I hope the Arsenal fans gave him a little break instead of on his back.

"Wright believes the example set by Theo Walcott and the like that can help to change the public's negative perception of rich modern players, with an unfavorable contrast media painted a big part when comparing the 2012 Olympians and British victory footballer riling Arsenal icon.

"I respect what amateur athletes are doing in London in 2012, but I was not overly impressed with the way everyone seemed to go out of their way to tell people all the women's sports and much better than the player," he added. "Why slate players just because Olympic athletes do well for a few weeks? Look into what the players are doing with their money, they do good work for charity, before you start to criticize them. Not all players should be tarred with the same brush, but they are an easy target.

"People look at the players as they were jealous brat and working class youth well for themselves, but this is all nonsense Footballers should not fall only ones to make Team GB stars look good .. If an Olympic athlete falls from a night club in the next few months, which will get the kind of coverage footballers seem to get. I bet they do not.

"Do not forget, the cost of billions of pounds to stage the Olympics in London, so I never jumped on the bandwagon to go along with the idea that the Olympics might save the nation we can spend money on things better .."
