The Florida-born goalkeeper, who plays for the Philadelphia Union in Major League Soccer, is scheduled to fly to Merseyside on Monday and will train with Everton's Tim Howard, the first choice goalkeeper the United States', in Finch agricultural base club.
Philadelphia Union confirmed MacMath trip Merseyside in a statement on their website, adding that the striker will Cristhian Hernandez training with Real Sociedad in the same setting.
The statement reads: "Goalkeeper Zac MacMath and advanced Cristhian Hernandez will continue to hone their skills in the off-season with European clubs in the English Premier League and Spanish La Liga, the club announced today MacMath and Hernandez are leaving today for three weeks.
